Have you ever waited too long to make a decision then realize, "Oh I should have made that decision and now it is too late?"
One of the biggest procrastinations for most people is the decision about getting life and critical illness insurance. You are pulled in so many directions that what you might think is unimportant gets put further and further on the back burner until it is totally out of site. Yet you know it is something you should deal with.
If you had a crystal ball and knew to the day when your health was going to change, you would know if you could postpone these decisions or would have to deal with them right away.
One sign of waiting to long – Your health changes so that now you are worrying about that physical, or the doctor wants you to go for more tests. What happens if those tests prove to show that it isn’t a slight change in your health but could be a very serious one?
With a serious condition looming thinking about getting life insurance, critical illness insurance or disability insurance is like closing the barn door when the horse has bolted.
When we are diagnosed with a serious illness, we think it happened suddenly. In reality it happens over time, if it is cancer it could have developed over a short time, if it is a heart condition it may have been building for a long time especially with all the stress we deal with on a daily basis.
Recently I have had several clients inquire about obtaining additional insurance but they waited too long and now the chances of getting more insurance will be difficult.
Getting a review of your insurance is always a good idea as there may be changes you can make to your existing insurance to provide you with additional insurance or maybe it is time to look at critical illness insurance or disability insurance.
We cannot take our health for granted and we have to accept the fact that it does change as we get older.
CARAHS protection can help you with that review of your insurance or to make sure that you have insurance to protect you from a critical illness or a serious injury.
